Don’t mess with your credit report
Take your finance repayments seriously.
That’s the message from Gold Coast mortgage broker Kathy Rogers who is amazed at the number of people who don’t seem to think it’s a big issue to go over their credit card limit or to be late in making a gas, electricity or mobile phone bill.
People just don’t understand the impact that this has on the credit report until it comes back to bite them when they try to get finance.
Something else that a lot of people don’t realise is that they can get a copy of their credit report at any time either by paying a fee for a quick response or waiting ten days for a free copy.
