We’re starting to see some relaxation of the rules for lending where the size of the property is small!

We now have access to some lenders who will allow  the area of on-title car spaces and/or balconies to be included in the total property area for units.  A total area of 50 square metres is still required, however the inclusion of car spaces and balconies  now allow for apartments with less than 50 square metres of living area to be considered.

Be warned though ….. care is required and you should make sure that you get your finance approved before heading out as this is still an area where it can be tough for finance.
