Gold Coast Christmas Community Lunch

FinancialPlus is proud to be involved with the 2010 Gold Coast Christmas Community Lunch.

This is lunch for the homeless and lonely of the Gold Coast that was first floated by Funky Photo Booths and now involves a number of other small Gold Coast businesses working together to cater for up to 500 people.

We’ve had our first meeting and allocated jobs but we need more volunteers and donations.

If you believe that you could help in any way, then we’d love to hear from you because we could do with help in the following areas:

  • Toy Donations – could your company collect on behalf of the group. We do have some guidelines on what we can take but we’d be happy to share these with you;
  • Food Donations – we’re looking for food! We need hams, chickens, bread rolls, butter, tea, coffee, soft drinks, jellies, gravy, ice creams, custard… Do you know of a business that could help with these?
  • Money – we can’t accept money but we can make use of cash to buy goods from supermarkets so any help in this area would be great.
  • Volunteers – these are needed both now and on Christmas Day so if you feel that you would like to get involved, then please contact us because any assistance will be appreciated.

The lunch is being held in Southport.

Would love to hear from you.
