Is this the turning point with Fixed Rates
For quite some times now, the news with Fixed Rates has been that lenders have been reducing their 2 and 3 year fixed rates but the latest news from ANZ is a bit of a mixed bag.
In the short term category, ANZ have just announced an increase in their 2 year fixed rate from 7.09% p.a to 7.15% p.a. – a slight increase – but, at the same time, have announced a slight decrease in their 3 year fixed rate from 7.39% to 7.35%.
Neither change is big but it is the first increase for some time.
In the long term category, ANZ have announced a slight increase with their 10 year fixed rate from 8.51% to 8.54%.
