We’ve just seen the news last week that Westpac’s CEO Gail Kelly announced that Westpac will not be increasing interest rates outside of the Reserve Bank.

Whilst there’s no guarantee that this will always be the case, it is nice to see that at least one of the big four banks has adopted this position which would generally, but not always,  be an indicator of what would apply with the other lenders as well.
